Dance Instructor

Miss Renee joined 24/7 Dance Studio the first year it opened as a student in 2002. She studied ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical, tap, contemporary, and pointe. Renee was a member of the award winning 24/7 Student Repertory Company for 3 years as well where she earned numerous competition awards and scholarships in both ballet and modern. 

Starting in 2009, Renee began teaching at the studio and running the very popular Princess Camp program in the summer.  She has taught children’s classes, ballet, and jazz as well as choreographed pieces for the Student Repertory Company. 

Outside of the studio, Renee earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from Hood College in 2014 and her master’s degree in math, science, and STEM education from Hood in 2021. She has been an elementary school teacher in FCPS for 10 years. 

Whether in a classroom or a studio, Renee has a passion for working with children and a gift for helping kids love to learn.
