Business Manager / Marketing Director

Susan is originally from Silver Spring, MD, and moved to Frederick with her family in 1997. She has been married for 33 years, has two grown amazing children, a wonderful son-in-law, a fabulous dog and recently became a very proud grandmother to her first grandchild—an experience she is cherishing every moment of!

Susan spent 13 years working as a substitute teacher with Frederick County Public Schools. During that time, she was deeply involved in the school community, serving as a local PTA officer and participating in the County Council PTA. Her dedication earned her recognition from FCPS Superintendent Dr. Jack Dale and the prestigious Lifetime PTA Membership Award from the Maryland State PTA. Susan loved her time supporting students and helping to create meaningful enrichment opportunities throughout the county.

Volunteering continues to be an important part of Susan’s life. She currently supports the Sgt. David J. Smith Memorial Fund and enjoys organizing community donation efforts through the studio.

Susan’s journey with 24/7 Dance Studio began when her daughter joined during its inaugural year—and her family has been part of the studio ever since. She joined the staff in 2004 and is now proudly beginning her 22nd year.

“The best part of my job,” Susan says, “is meeting new families and watching so many wonderful children grow in the arts. I look forward to another great year!”
