Business Manager

Susan is originally from Silver Spring, Maryland, and moved to Frederick with her family in 1997. She has been happily married for 35 years and is the proud mom of two amazing grown children, a wonderful son-in-law, and a fabulous dog. Her greatest joy is being "Mimi" to her first grandchild—an experience she cherishes every single day.

Before joining the 24/7 Dance Studio team, Susan spent 13 years as a substitute teacher with Frederick County Public Schools. During that time, she was deeply involved in the school community, serving as a local PTA officer and on the Frederick County Council PTA. Her dedication to students and families earned her recognition from FCPS Superintendent Dr. Jack Dale, as well as the prestigious Lifetime PTA Membership Award from the Maryland State PTA. Susan loved helping create meaningful educational and enrichment opportunities for children throughout the county.

Giving back to the community remains one of Susan's passions. She proudly supports the Sgt. David J. Smith Memorial Fund and enjoys organizing community donation drives through the studio to help local families and organizations.

Susan's connection to 24/7 Dance Studio began during its very first year when her daughter enrolled as a student. Her family has been part of the studio ever since. She joined the staff in 2004 and is excited to begin her 23rd year with 24/7 Dance Studio.

"The best part of my job is meeting new families and watching so many wonderful children grow through the performing arts," Susan says. "It is truly a privilege to be part of their journey, and I look forward to another amazing year at 24/7 Dance Studio!"
