Eliza was born and raised in wild, wonderful West Virginia and began dancing at the age of 7. Eliza came from a musical family with parents who always encouraged their children to access their creative side, which inspired her to participate in choir, art classes, and dance classes throughout her childhood. Eliza received a dance scholarship to West Virginia Wesleyan College and received her dance minor while she was working toward her B.A. in Social Justice. Eliza was part of the West Virginia Wesleyan Dance Company all four years of her schooling. After completing college, Eliza moved to the Frederick area to start her career in mental health social work, and she currently resides in beautiful Jefferson County, West Virginia with her husband, dog, and bearded dragon. She began taking adult classes at 24/7 in 2021 in order to continue her passion of dancing. While Eliza has studied various genres of dance over the past 19 years, ballet holds a special place in her heart. Eliza is super excited to begin her third year of dancing and first year of working with 24/7 and hopes to meet lots of smiling, new faces that love dance just as much as she does!
