Meet Jasmine Rivera

Dance Instructor

Jasmine Rivera is a 24/7 Dance Studio alumni who began her dance journey at Temecula Dance Company in Temecula, CA under the direction of Jimmy Peters and Bobbies’s School of Performing Arts in Thousand Oaks, CA. She received her BFA in Dance Performance and BS in Psychology from Towson University. At Towson she trained with various instructors including Linda Denise Fisher-Harrell, Vincent Thomas, Nicole Martinell, and Runqiao Du among others. Jasmine performed with Deep Vision Dance Company under the direction of Nicole Martinell where she continued to explore modern dance and levels of human connectivity within an improvisational and collaborative process.

Jasmine focuses on grounded movement, encouraging her dancers to explore spirals, fluidity, and floor work. In class students can expect to explore contemporary and modern styles through a lens of curiosity and openness.

Outside of the studio, Jasmine owns Rivera Wellness, LLC and practices mental health therapy in Frederick, MD. She is passionate about caring for the brain and body and strives to bring this focus back to her dance students within a safe and encouraging environment to grow.

Miss Jasmine will be teaching contemporary on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Come train with Jasmine!
