Dance Instructor / Early Education Director

Jeanna is a Frederick native, sagittarius, ENFP-T, and enneagram type 6 & 7. She has dedicated her life to the art of dance and therapeutic nature of movement as a performing artist and educator. She received her B.F.A in Dance Performance from Towson University, is a registered Yoga Teacher (200 RYT), and holds a certification in Functional Awareness. 

Jeanna’s teaching philosophy is centered around cultivating 'The 4 C’s of her Classroom': creativity, curiosity, community and compassion. She is passionate about the discovery of one’s artistic voice and dynamic alignment as avenues to improving one's mobility, resilience and overall wellbeing. 

She has performed with dance companies on both the East and West coast, including Disney Cruise Lines, Benita Bike's DanceArt Company, Kybele Dance Theater, Alternative Dance Project, Deep Vision Dance Company and Kinetics Dance Theater. 

Jeanna co-founded and was co-artistic director of LucidBeings Dance along with creative partner Franki Graham from 2017-2019. Most notably, LucidBeings' work was selected and presented at Maryland Choreographer’s Showcase (2018), Baltimore Dance Invitational (2018), VelocityDC Dance Festival (2017), and the Richmond Dance Festival (2017 and 2018). 

She is currently celebrating her 10th consecutive year with 24/7 Dance Studio as the Early Years Education Director, Dance Instructor, and Rehearsal Director for their PRIDE Company. Jeanna also leads Yoga classes at Roots & River Yoga and cross trains Figure Skaters from Skate Frederick.

n her free time, Jeanna loves traveling, being with and learning from nature, adventurous eating, dabbling in all things arts & crafts and is a proud pet mam to her rescue turtle, Tye and sweet kitties Giuseppe and Fennel.
