Meet Jeanna Riscigno

Program Director/ Dance Instructor


Jeanna is a Frederick native, Sagittarius, ENFP-T, and Enneagram 7w6 who has dedicated her life to dance as both a performer and educator. She earned an A.A. in Business Administration from Frederick Community College, a B.F.A. in Dance Performance from Towson University, is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), and holds a certification in Functional Awareness.

This marks Jeanna's 12th season with 24/7 Dance Studio, where she serves as Program Director, Dance Instructor, and Rehearsal Director for Dance Fusion Collective. She also teaches yoga at Roots & River in Brunswick.


Jeanna's teaching philosophy is rooted in cultivating the 4 C's of the Classroom: Community, Creativity, Curiosity, and Compassion. She is passionate about creating an inclusive, empowering environment where students discover their unique artistic voice while developing the confidence, resilience, and growth mindset to reach their personal best.


Throughout her career, Jeanna has performed with companies on both the East and West Coasts, including Disney Cruise Line, Benita Bike's DanceArt Company, Kybele Dance Theater, Alternative Dance Project, Deep Vision Dance Company, Kinetics Dance Theatre, and MAD Dance.

From 2017–2019, Jeanna co-founded and served as Co-Artistic Director of LucidBeings Dance alongside her creative partner, Franki Graham. During that time, the company's work was presented at the Maryland Choreographers Showcase, Baltimore Dance Invitational, VelocityDC Dance Festival, and the Richmond Dance Festival.


Outside the studio, Jeanna enjoys traveling, spending time in nature, adventurous eating, and creating handmade crafts. She is also a proud pet mom to her rescue turtle, Tye, and her beloved cats, Giuseppe and Fennel.
