Dance Instructor - Acrobatic Arts

Abby Dickerson, a Frederick local & 24/7 alumni, started dancing at 4 years old and has continued to train in the Frederick area for 19 years, as well as teach for 5 years. She has trained in hip hop, jazz, contemporary, ballet, and tap. While training at 24/7, she was a member of the PRIDE performing company & hip hop Krew. In high school, Abby furthered her dance knowledge with dance history, composition, anatomy/kinesiology, & technique classes through her studies in the dance focus at the Academy for the Fine Arts. Since graduating in 2021, Abby has enjoyed getting involved in local arts opportunities. She’s danced on Laura Edward’s LED Company, as well as the Cowbelles dance team for the Frederick Flying Cows basketball team for 2 seasons. Abby’s goal as an instructor is to create a safe space in the studio for everyone to feel free to move and experiment with their artistry. She loves to share her passion for dance through educating dancers of all ages & working with students to reach their full potential as performers.
