Dance Instructor - Acrobatic Arts

Abby Dickerson, a 24/7 alumni, started dancing at 4 years old and continued to train in the frederick area for 15 years. She has trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and tap. In high school, Abby attended the FCPS Academy for the Fine Arts program, where she gained knowledge in anatomy, dance history, and choreography. Now certified in Acrobatic Arts, Abby looks forward to using that knowledge towards the Acro-gymnastics program, as well as incorporating some of the teachings in her own classes to build safe, strong, and versatile dancers.As an alumni of 24/7 dance studio, Abby spent thirteen years training in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and hip hop, as well as competed for five years with the Pride Company. Throughout the years Abby has participated in the theatre program at her high school, and attended the FCPS Academy for the Fine Arts, in the dance focus. During her time at 24/7 and the AFA, Abby found her passion for choreography and teaching.
