Gymnastics Intructor
Debra was born and raised in NJ, where she started gymnastics at the age of 3. She was in competitive gymnastics for 5 years before transitioning to competitive cheer and dance. Debra choreographed many national winning routines for 20 years. She performed and competed on the University of Maryland Dance Team where she trained under Stephanie Jojokian (known for her work as the Director of the Redskin Cheerleaders and the Co-founder of Capital Movement Inc.).
Debra traveled the country as a dance instructor with Universal Dance Association (UDA) and National Dance Alliance (NDA) She was assistant coach of the University of Maryland Dance Team for 2 years.
For the last 27 years Debra has been a high school special education teacher with Montgomery County Public Schools which has afforded her many opportunities to choreograph and coach students and faculty.
Debra helps out our Saturday classes as 6th teacher and specializes in emotional and behavioral support. Debra is excited to start her 7th year at 24/7 Dance Studio!
