Summer 2026 Schedule
5 Week Classes Run June 22 - July 23 Summer core classes are grouped by age and designed to accommodate mixed levels.
Teachers will provide individualized challenges and modifications to support each child’s ability.

Classes
Pre-Teen Ballet
Ages: 10+
Class length: 1 hour
Ballet
The foundation of all dance forms. Body placement, flexibility, alignment, alignment, strength and technique are achieved through barre and center floor work based on a variety of techniques. Class will have a strong emphasis on classical technique with advanced levels incorporating contemporary movements. Students will also learn ballet vocabulary and a basic introduction of dance kinesiology.
Pre-Teen Jazz
Ages: 10+
Class length: 1 hour
This popular form of dance incorporates many styles such as contemporary and theatrical. Jazz is the dance style of the stage, screen and music videos. The classes include a warm-up, isolations, across-the-floor work and technique ending with choreography set to contemporary music.
Pre-Teen/Teen Tap
Ages: 10+
Class length: 1 hour
This form of dance teaches the student the basic fundamentals of tap sounds and steps leading to advanced rhythms and syncopation. Students develop coordination of mind and body and a more perceptive sense of rhythm, timing and phrasing.
Pre-Teen/Teen Hip Hop
Ages: 10+
Class length: 1 hour
A high energy, high impact class exploring current styles of movement seen on TV and in music videos. Inspired by the urban hip hop music.
Youth / Pre-Teen Musical Theater
Ages: 8+
Class length: 1 hour
Introduces the three basic skills of musical theatre: acting, singing and dancing. Combines those three skills to produce scenes and musical numbers. Emphasis is placed on following stage directions, developing self-confidence and creating characters for acting. Focus is placed on breath, tone and projection for singing. Also, we begin to understand how to use the body and learn basic movement for dancing.
Youth Gymnastics
Ages: 8-12
Class length: 1 hour
Students will continue the skills learned in the earlier classes and further focus on vault, tumbling (round-offs and back- walk- overs), bars (pull-over and back hip circle), and balance beam. This class continues to teach the fundamentals of gymnastics as well as enhancing self-esteem, coordination, balance, flexibility, strength, form and focus.
Acro
Ages: 10+
Class length: 1 hour
This class serves as an introduction to and reinforcement of Acro skills that can be a great asset in a dancer’s training, while enhancing self-esteem, coordination, balance, flexibility, strength, form, and focus. Students will fine-tune their tumbling skills while focusing on their form through weekly strength and flexibility training to ensure injury prevention and technical execution. Students will be introduced to preparation drills for the following skills: front and back walkovers, side aerials, chin stands, and shoulder stands.
Xcelerated Program*
Ages: 8+ Beginner/Intermediate
Ages: 10+ Intermediate
*Designed for experienced dancers, this program requires pre-approval from our Education Directors. Please note that Movement classes may only be taken alongside the Technique class.
Ballet
Class Length: 45mins - 1 hour
The foundation of all dance forms. This class focuses on the body awareness and strength needed to maintain proper alignment, rotation, and foundational technique. Class typically includes a classical ballet barre, center exercises, and grande allegro across the floor.
Technique:
Conditioning, Floor Barre, Jazz, Modern technique classes
Class length: 45mins - 1 hour 15mins
This class will rotate weekly between Jazz, Modern, and Conditioning. Dancers will participate in full-body conditioning designed to build muscular strength, endurance, and flexibility. Jazz classes include a structured warm-up, center technique, and across-the-floor progressions, with an emphasis on refining and advancing turns and leap progressions. Modern classes include a warm-up, center technique, and across-the-floor progressions that encourage artistic expression, spinal articulation, body initiation, and musicality.
Movement**:
Combo or Center work in Jazz/Contemporary/Modern
Class length: 30 - 45mins
Movement Classes focus on choreography combinations across a variety of styles, including Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, and Jazz Funk. ** For the safety of our dancers, enrollment in a Technique class is required, as Movement classes do not include a warm-up.
Hip Hop
Class Length: 1 hour
A high energy class that includes hip hop grooves, footwork, foundational drills, and freestyle. The majority of this class is spent learning a variety of styles through choreography.
Tap
Class Length: 1 hour
This form of dance teaches students the basic fundamentals of musicality and skills leading to advanced rhythms and syncopation. Students develop coordination of mind and body and a more perceptive sense of rhythm, timing, and phrasing.
