Jenn Irons began her music and dance education in Westminster, MD at the age of 3. She sang with the Carroll County Children's Choir, danced at the Ballet Slipper and took private piano lessons at McDaniel College. It was at the age of 10, when she performed in her first professional production, The Wizard of Oz, that Jenn found her true passion. Jenn attended The Benjamin T. Rome School of Music at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre. After graduation she continued to perform professionally throughout the country. Credits include: Alexis Powell in Nobody’s Perfect at the John F. Kennedy Center (Original cast recording), Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical the Musical at Imagination Stage (Helen Hayes Nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Musical), My Fair Lady, The Light in the Piazza, She Loves Me and Camelot at Arena Stage, Follies and Saving Aimee at Signature Theatre and Ruthless at Maryland Ensemble Theatre. In 2010 Jenn moved to Frederick and began teaching Acting and Musical Theatre at 24/7 Dance Studio. She also teaches private voice, piano and music theatre coaching from her home music studio. When she is not teaching, Jenn is busy raising her three children and being the director of music at St. Joseph's in Buckeystown, MD. Jenn feels so blessed to share her love of music and theatre with her students every week!
