Cindy Hsu has a B.A. in Dance and a M.A. in Arts Management. She worked as a guest artist-in-residence and performed throughout the New York City area with Manhattan Tap II. She has studied tap with Buster Brown, Heather Cornell, Mark Goodman, Lisa Hopkins, and Idella Reed. Cindy went on to tour with the National Tap Ensemble and was on faculty at the annual National Tap Seminar. She performed with the Colorado production of Taps Are Talking: Women In Tap. Cindy also directed and danced with Step Aside Tap Company in Maryland. In 2015, she was cast in the Chicago production of La Raison d’Etre under the direction of Tristan Bruns. Cindy has taught master classes, workshops, and residencies throughout the east coast. She recently moved to Indiana with her husband and son where she currently serves as assistant director and principal dancer with Circle City Tap Company under the direction of Lorenda Carr.
